CONSUMERS CONGRESS is an All India level, Non-Government Organization, registered in Delhi, under Societies Registration Act, 1860, since 1996 and run by a group of professionals determined to achieve our aims & objectives.
CONSUMERS CONGRESS envisions contributing significantly towards free legal aid and advice to poor and needy persons, quality education, healthcare and livelihood facilities to the socially and economically disadvantaged people.
As our name suggests, our aim is to protect and help Consumers/Public at large, because every person is consumer somewhere, from the unfair trade practices and to help poor and needy persons in getting justice, by providing free legal aid and advice to them.
The NGO is working for the welfare of children, women and old aged persons in the field of Education, Healthcare and Livelihood. Most of the areas where we are working have acute poverty, lack of basic facilities, rampant unemployment where one has to struggle a lot for fulfilling their basic needs.
Despite India's spectacular economic development, millions still have to go hungry; live in most unhygienic conditions, without even basic education for their children; and die of diseases that can be prevented. What is needed is to build a strong civil society that should work in tandem with the government in making a difference in the lives of those who are in need.
